Meal Replacement Diets
Wheather they’re to your taste or not, you should only ever use a meal replacement diet as a short term option to boost your motivation to shed the pounds, via other means.
I have taken a look into 3 meal replacement diets.
Today will be on The Hollywood Cookie Diet
Tomorrow will be on Slimfast and finally the following day will be on the Special K diet.
The Hollywood Cookie Diet
You eat 4 cookie per day instead if breakfast and lunch. 1 cookie for breakfast, 1 cookie mid morning, 1 cookie for lunch and 1 cookie as an afternoon snack, then eat a sensible dinner such as a salad, soup and chicken or fish with vegetables.
The cookies are high in protein and fibre to fill you up and low in fat, and include 13 vitamins and minerals.
They contain 150 calories each. There are 3 different flavours, chocolate chip, lemon and oatmeal raisin.
Eat 4 cookies daily and a sensible dinner and you will lose weight. Followers have said they have lost 30lbs in 2 months on the diet and that their food cravings have been reduced.
This diet does give you the essential vitamins and minerals you need in the cookies and most people will lose weight. The cookies contain protein because this has been known to fill people up. You will also, however be relying on your evening meal to give you your 5 portions of fruit and vegetables a day. It’s difficult to get all these in one meal.
