1. Make your own fruit smoothies to help you meet the 5 a day fruit and vegetable intake guidelines.
2. Indulge in a protein based breakfast like boiled eggs and have them with soldiers made from wholemeal bread.
3. Carry healthy snacks to stop yourself from eating junk.
4. Aim for 8 glasses of water a day to help reduce cellulite and keep hunger at bay.
5. Keep a food diary. Dieters who write down what they eat everyday are proven to lose more weight.
6. Find a fun activity like dancing.
7. Never skip meals and do not deprive yourself.
8. Choose your fruits carefully ~ For example apples and pears contain less sugar than bananas and have a lower glycaemic index. Plums have one of the lowest GI’s of any fruit.
9. Avoid eating heavy meals late at night. Have your main meal at lunch time when you can.
